NEW: ESOS Online Enquiry Form – an enhancement to the ESOS Mailbox

The ESOS mailbox receives hundreds of enquiries every month. With a view to improving the service provided to those who use the mailbox, the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations is introducing an ESOS Online Enquiry Form to assist with ESOS related questions.

The Form has been designed to provide fast and accurate responses to enquiries in a more streamlined and effective manner by ensuring:

  • essential and relevant information has been collected via the drop-down menus and free text boxes to respond to the query; and
  • the question is directed to the appropriate area within the Department via the drop-down options chosen by the enquirer.

Once the Form is completed and submitted, the enquirer will receive an automatic email acknowledgement with details of the submission for their records. Subsequently, depending on the nature of the issue, the enquirer will generally receive a response within ten working days.

The Online Form page also provides links to important information about ESOS, including the ESOS Explanatory Guide. The Guide contains a significant repository of information and is a good resource to check before submitting an ESOS query.

As the Online Form is an enhancement to the ESOS Mailbox, it will replace the current ESOS Mailbox address. However, to assist in the transition to the Online Form, the ESOS Mailbox address will continue to be available until Friday, 16 July 2010.

The Online Form is available now and can be accessed at a number of locations on the AEI Online website, including on the Contact Us page.

It is therefore requested that all ESOS enquiries be directed to the new ESOS Online Enquiry Form or ESOS Helpline: 02 6240 5069.

Your feedback on any improvements to the new ESOS Online Enquiry Form is welcomed.
